Robert T. WerdenAugust 02, 1941 - March 17, 2009 Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather & Special Friend – Age 67
Passed away peacefully into the arms of God surrounded by family & friends on March 17, 2009. Preceded in death by his wife of 40 loving years, Pamela; parents, Francis & Marie Werden and brother, James. Survived by children, Joseph (Terri), John (Joni) & Jennifer; grandchildren, Joshua, Anthony Spartz, Brittny Novak, Shelbie, Joleen & Rosemarie; very special friend, Jeri Wenzel; sisters, Jean & Patricia (Rolly) Karels and many nieces and nephews. Bob was a lifetime employee of Collins Electric (Vice President), lifelong member of IBEW 110, governor & president of the St. Paul Chapter NECA and was nominated for fellowship of Electrical Contractors – Electric Industries highest award. Bob was also president of 2008 St. Paul Building Trades, distinguished member and served on various committees for NECA & IBEW. He was an avid sportsman, president of the West End Gun Club, member of MSRA and enjoyed classic car collecting. Special thank you to Jeri Wenzel for her loving care for Bob. He will be dearly missed for his dedication, compassion & love of life and family. Funeral InformationMass of Christian Burial 11 AM Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the CHURCH OF ST. MATTHEW, 510 Hall Avenue @ Robie Street in St. Paul. Visitation from 4 to 8:30 PM Friday at WEST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 South Robert Street @ Arion in West St. Paul.
