Was called home by our Father God on August 30, 2006, after battling pancre-atic cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Bertha Nikl and 5 sisters. He is survived by his loving wife Rose Marie; sons Pastor Robert (Sheila) Nikl, Mitchell (Tina) Nikl, and daughter Michelle (Travis) Jordan; grandchildren, Harli, Sophia, Samantha & Niklaus; siblings, Ed, Marty, Leo & Luella. Marv was the owner of Marv's Corral Bar in South St Paul. Marv loved spending time with his family and treasured his grandchildren. He enjoyed woodworking, had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help his family and friends. He will be truly missed and cherished by all who knew him. Funeral InformationVisitation 4-7PM, Tues. at Southern Funeral Home, 414 Marie Ave., SSP and 1 hour prior to church on Wed. Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM, Wednesday at HOLY TRINITY CHURCH, 749 6th Ave S, SSP. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the church.
