Passed away peacefully on March 28 at home surrounded by his family after a 14 month COURAGEOUS battle with Mesothelioma cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Alfred and Nellie; brothers Paul and Cliff. Survived by loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Maryann; children, Sharon (Jim) Hinze, Diane (Dan) Wald, Mary (John) Plante, Nancy (Tom) Roeder, Jean (fiance Jeff Bronk) and Richard, Jr. "Chip" (Lea); and 9 grandchildren.
