Loving Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother & Great-Great-Grandmother

Died January 31, 2008 in Woodbury, Minnesota at the age of 87. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Steve; her sons, Charles and LeRoy; grandson, Thad; her parents; and her brother, James Hill. She is survived by her daughter, Marietta; son, Robert; sisters, Darlene and Shirley; daughters-in-law, Joyce and Denise; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Virginia had a lifelong passion for genealogy and was a member of the Iowa Genealogical Society. She was also an accomplished oil painter.

Funeral Information

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1627 Grand Avenue in West Des Moines, Iowa. Visitation 1 hour prior to the Mass at church. Interment Glendale Cemetery.
