Carl J. Conney

April 29, 1925 - December 14, 2005

Carl is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary "Mitzi" Bredemus Conney; his daughters, Cathey Wilcox and her husband Jerry of Wentworth, WI and Mary Hilden and her husband Dennis; his grandchildren, Tim Smith and his wife Maria, Patrick Black, Becky Wilcox, and Amanda and Cody Hilden; his great grandson, Benjamin Carl Smith; his nephews, Carl, Jon and his wife Molly, and Frank and his wife JoAnn; and his family friend, John Gorman. Carl is also survived by Mitzi's family, Bob and Kappy Bredemus, Sandra and Bill Johnson, Doris and John McCabe, and Ron and Maureen Bredemus; and also many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Carl (1947) and Charlotte (1995); brother, Frank (1962); and wife, Mary Di Santo Conney (1964). Carl was a veteran of WWII and Korea and a life long member of Unico and the St. Anthony Society. He was a kind, generous man, who lived a "charmed" life and had a gentle death. May he rest in peace. "Love Ya today, tomorrow and forever."

Funeral Information

Memorial Mass 11AM Friday, December 16, 2005 at the CHURCH OF ST. STANISLAUS, corner of Superior St. & Western Ave., just north of W. 7th St., with gathering 9-11AM at church. Final prayers 2:30PM at Resurrection Cemetery.
