Edward "Jim" O'Brien

June 06, 1921 - November 28, 1950

US Army, MIA in Korea; Found after 58 Years

Missing in Action on November 28, 1950, found in October of 1998, and identified on April 3, 2008. Jim’s parents, Edward and Caroline O’Brien; and sister, Olive Cook have all passed away, never knowing what happened to him. He is survived by his brother, Wally (June); and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Visitation from 4 to 7 PM Tuesday, July 1st at SOUTHERN FUNERAL HOME, 414 Marie Avenue in South St. Paul. Graveside Service 11 AM Wednesday, July 2nd at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 South 34th Avenue in Minneapolis - Assembly Area #4.
