Beloved son, brother, uncle and friend - age 37. Passed away on April 3, 2008 after a courageous fight with lymphoma. He was surrounded by family and supported by many friends during his death at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC. He was born in West St. Paul and graduated from Henry Sibley High School and the University of Minnesota. He moved to NYC in 1996 where he worked in financial services and investment banking. David lived life to the fullest, filling it with family and friends. He loved cooking, entertaining, music, reading, card games (but not losing) and travel. His quick wit, sense of humor and enduring charm left a lasting impression on all he met. David’s greatest gift was his compassion for others, as demonstrated by his many volunteer commitments from high school until his death. While at Sloan Kettering his positive spirit and hopeful determination helped support other cancer patients during their difficult treatments.
