Josephine’s 98 years began on April 20, 1910 on the family farm in Goodhue County close to the town of Lake City, MN. She was the youngest of all her siblings & she always had stories to share about her life there, the one room school house & life on the farm. She went to the cities to work when she was 16 & ended up working at Armour’s. She met her husband, John while living in South St. Paul & soon they began their family. This included Joan, Jack, Joyce, & Jan; grandchildren; many great-grandchildren & even a few great-great-grandchildren. Family was always the most important thing to her. Josephine’s life was always full of activities, playing golf, winning tournaments, out driving & out putting her husband, John, on the golf course. She enjoyed picking raspberries & growing flowers. Among all of those things, she was always there to listen & lend a helping hand to all those that were close to her. Josephine has now started a new journey & she is joining her husband, John; daughter, Joan & son, Jack & they are all reunited in love.
