Went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 19, 2008 surrounded by his family. Devoted husband, dedicated father to his two daughters and a friend to everyone. Preceded in death by his parents John and Clara Barton. Survived by his beloved wife and soulmate of 39 years, Janice; daughters, MaryAnn (Jeri) Curro and Kristine (John) Kelly; grandchildren, Brianna, Mario and Miranda; brother, John (Rita); sister, Kathy (Mike) Anderson; nieces and nephews; and five granddogs. A graduate of Mechanic Arts High School, he loved golf, travel, good food, time spent with family and friends, puttering around the house and a good story. He lived his life with integrity, an outstanding sense of humor and great wisdom about life and people. The family would especially like to thank Renee, Jackie and Tracy from the United Hospital’s 4th Floor 4900 Unit and dear family friends who have supported Bob and his “girls” throughout the past year.
