Gerald F. HenryAugust 02, 1921 - July 27, 2008 Long-Time Florida Resident
Age 86, of Eagan, died July 27, 2008. Preceded in death by Jean (Niederkorn) Henry, his wife of 56 years and sweetheart since first grade. Also preceded in death by grandsons, John Lisec and Dan Christmas. Survived by their four children, Mary (Al) Stoskopf, Patty (Tom) Lisec, Earl (Char) Henry, and Kathy (Bob) Christmas; six much loves grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, whom he adored. Jerry was born August 2, 1921, in Hastings, Minnesota, to parents, Katherine (Sieben) and Earl Fenton Henry. Jerry entered the Army Air Corps at the outbreak of WWII. At war's end Jerry, his wife and their first two children started life together as Jerry began a career managing lumber yards, which took him to many states. He ultimately returned to Minnesota and began a second career with the United States Postal Service. Jerry enjoyed collecting coins and antiques. He was a superior bridge player and loved card games of all kinds including video poker.
