Sharon Kay ZoellnerNovember 20, 1953 - February 20, 2009 Beloved Wife and Mother
Age 55, of Eagan. After fighting cancer courageously for 16 years, Sharon passed away quietly at her home on Friday, February 20, 2009. She was born to Paul and Marcella Isaacson on November 20, 1953 in Whitehall, Wisconsin. She attended UW – Eau Claire, earning a degree in Elementary Education, where she met her future husband, Scott Zoellner. Sharon and Scott were married on June 15, 1974 and began a life together spanning nearly 35 years. Sharon taught elementary school for 29 years, beginning in Scandinavia, WI, and ending in South St. Paul, MN. She is survived by her husband, Scott; son, Nathan; daughter, Alison; parents, Paul & Marcella Isaacson; sisters, Sandra Larson and Shirley Pronschinske. In addition to being a dedicated teacher, Sharon enjoyed following the activities of her children and traveling with family and friends. She especially enjoyed summers at the family’s lake retreat, and crafting with her best friend. Sharon will be remembered for her positive attitude, friendly smile, helpful dedication, quiet determination, and the enjoyment of life she mastered so well to her final days.
