Elsie Toft

Lover of animals, travel, song and storytelling.

Age 92. Elsie's family emmigrated from Denmark to the 1930's farming community of Tyler, MN. Throughout her life, Elsie was an active participant in city, church and community life as a longtime resident of the Mpls. Uptown neighborhood. Survived by daughter, Mona (Gregory Kujawa) Toft, grandson Najil Bagdadi, sister Kirstine (Rev. Peter) Thomsen, brothers Chris and Peder Toft, along with nieces, nephews and existing family in Elsie's native homeland. She was a beautiful and independent lady -- may she rest in heavenly peace.

Funeral Information

Funeral Service 11 a.m. WEDNESDAY at ST. PEDER'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4600 E. 42nd St., Mpls, Visitation 1 hr. before the service at the church. Interment will be in Danebod Cemetery, Tyler MN.
