Died peacefully October 16, 2005 with his wife of 70 years, Maxie, by his side. He was born September 21, 1913 in Storm Lake, Iowa, son of Ervin and Edith Reis Weeks. He was a longtime resident of St. Paul and moved to Eagan 4 years ago. Mr. Weeks retired from the State of Minnesota Motor Pool in 1976. His greatest enjoyments were hunting and fishing. Mr. Weeks is survived by his wife, Maxie; 2 daughters, Dawne Pyles of Oklahoma City, OK and Angela Ellison (Lee) of Jordan, MN; and a son, Dr. Richard Weeks Jr., (Jacky), Weston, WV; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great grand-children. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Ann; his sisters, Janet Langlotz and Mildred Shewell; and by his granddaughter, Miranda Smith Weeks.
