Frantzen, John J. - April 11, 1931 June 29, 2005 John J. Frantzen is now in the presence of Jesus Christ, enjoying family and friends who have gone before. The son of immigrants from Luxembourg, John was born in St. Paul, Minnesota where he married Marcia Westergren 55 years ago. They were blessed with five children and five grandchildren. A self-taught 'inventionologist', John's patents directly impact our world: from photocopies to color television to stents that continue to save many lives. John and Marcia made their home in California since 1980, whenever they were not traveling. John is preceded in death by parents, John & Lillian; son, John T.Frantzen; sister, Gail; sisters-in-law, Barbara and Maryann. Father of Stephan(Karen)Frantzen, Cheryl(John) Nilsen, Alan Frantzen and Mark Frantzen; Grandfather of Brian, Chris, Joseph Heywood, Neal and Molly; Brother of Joyce (Don) Falzone, Rodney, Greg, Rosemary (Paul)Rivard, Tom(Marlene)Frantzen. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed. But we do not grieve as those with no hope. Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His godly ones.
