Byron L. Vickers

August 10, 1924 - June 17, 2005

Retired U.S. Bureau of Mines - Age 80

Passed away on June 17, 2005. Preceded in death by loving wife of 53 years, Bettie; daughter Jane. Survived by daughter Kathleen Lorinser; son Scott (Laura), 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also survived by wonderful friends Roland & Denise, and June.

Byron will always be remembered for his endearing love of Bettie, his humor and strong wit, and joy in finding the perfect deal. He enjoyed traveling the United States and Europe with Bettie, collecting railroad memorabilia, watching sports, and sitting on his deck enjoying a root beer float. Byron is deeply loved and will be truly missed.

Funeral Information

Visitation 6-8PM Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at SOUTHERN FUNERAL HOME, 414 Marie Ave., So. St. Paul (651-451-1551). Private family service and interment at Acacia Park Cemetery.
