Julius Gansfus

Longtime Eagan Resident

Age 79 Passed away March 16, 2005. Julius was born in Jabing, Austria on October 3, 1925 and immigrated to America in 1955. He retired from Capitol Gears in 1989 after 33 years of employment.

Julius is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years, Franziska Gansfus; children, Kristina (John) Heili and Gerhard (Patricia) Gansfus; grandchildren, Carreen (James) Bandoli, Rebecca (Dane) Richardson, Suzanne (Patrick) Cota, and Gerhard (Colleen) Gansfus; great grandchildren, Brianna Heili, Michael and Alex Johnson, Bryson and Madisyn Cota, Brittany, Alicia, and Lindsey Bandoli, and Lukas Richardson; brothers, Josef and Michael Gansfus, of Austria; nieces, Anni Obojocovics, Elfrieda Moser, and Mari Guardini, of Austria; nephews, Alfred and Alfred Gansfus, of Austria, and Jules Loipersbeck. Preceded in death by sister, Ann Loipersbeck; grandson, John Heili.

Funeral Information

Funeral procession leaving 10:30 AM Friday from J.S. KLECATSKY & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1580 Century Pt. (Yankee Doodle Rd & Coachman), Eagan, for 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial at the CHURCH OF ST PETER, 1405 Sibley Memorial Hwy, Mendota. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
