Former Mayor Of Inver Grove Heights

Died on July 3, 2004 at the age of 92 years. Preceded in death by wife, Mary Piekarski; Daughters, Mary, Irene & Elizabeth Maine; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by daughters, Julie (Jerry) Schultz, Kathy (Roger) Chapin and Connie Piekarski; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Veronica Rohling; sisters-in-law, Irene Domico, Rose Piekarski; and many other family and special friends.

Ted served as mayor of Inver Grove Heights for 12 years and also served the city in the capacity of: Justice of the Peace, City Counsel, Planning Commission, and was instrumental in starting the Inver Grove Heights Fire Department. He also co-authored 'The History of Inver Grove Heights.' In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.

Funeral Information

Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Wednesday at the CHURCH OF ST. PATRICK, 3535 E. 72nd St., IGH. Visitation 9-11AM Wednesday at the church. Interment St. Patrick's Church Cemetery.
