John Martin Bachman,March 31, 1919 - June 16, 2004 Beloved Husband, Father & Grandpa
Passed away peacefully on June 16th at the age of 85. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Sr. & Elizabeth; 1st wife, Irene; & brothers, Frank & Joseph. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 14 years, Gertrude 'Trudy'; daughters, Marge (Larry) Jones & Pat (Bill) Marshall; grandchildren, Michelle (Jay) Webber, John & William Marshall, Nichole (Matthew) Coty, & Mathew Jones; great-grandchildren, William , Cody, & Hailey; step-children, Donna (Duane) Geisen, Judy (Wally) Tersteeg, Bob (Mary Lee) Marshall, & David (Gretchen) Marshall; numerous step-grandchildren & great-grandchildren; boyhood friend, Andy (Hazel) Schultz; & many other relatives & friends. John was a retired superintendent of the So. St. Paul Post Office, life-time member of VFW Post #295, Swiss Benevolence Society, & a member of Knights of Columbus. Funeral InformationFuneral procession to leave Sat. 9:30AM from SOUTHERN FUNERAL HOME, 414 Marie Ave., So. St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial, 10AM at CHURCH OF THE HOLY TRINITY, 6th Ave. So. @ 8th St., SSP. Visitation Friday, 4-8PM at the funeral home. And 9-9:30AM at the funeral home on Saturday.
