Age 88, of West St. Paul. Lauretta was born Aug. 7, 1915 in New Prague, MN, the 2nd of 7 children, to Frank & Elizabeth Hauer. Preceded in death by beloved husband Alven; her parents; grandson Jeffrey; sisters Susie & Apoline; and brother Charles. Survived by sons, Jerome (Pat) and John (Bonnie); and daughter Judy O'Donnell; 7 grandchildren, Leanne (Rick), Brian (Gina), Jenny (Eric), Tara (Dustin), Sheri, Patrick (Becky), & Matthew; 6 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Herbert & Florian; sister Virginia; many nieces, nephews and friends. Lauretta was employed at Wards for 25 yrs; managed the club rooms at the St. Paul Curling Club for 20 yrs; owned & operated a concession at the MN State Fair; counted money at St. Joseph Church; was a licensed beautician and volunteered at Divine Redeemer Hospital. Member of St. Joseph Council of Catholic Women & Catholic Society at St. Matthew's. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Southview Acres HCC, especially the 3rd floor DCU.
