Age 81 of St. Paul's Westside, passed away peacefully at United Hospital, St. Paul. Preceded in death by his father, William Sr.; his mother, Minnie; and brothers, William Jr., Harry , and Ernest. He is survived by his brother, Frank (Nancy) Gaston; sisters, Ophelia (Allen) Wallace of Long Beach CA, Shirley Gaston, and Katy Sawicki; and many nieces and nephews. Carlyle served in the US Army from 1950 to 1952 and thereafter worker at the St. Paul Post Office until his retirement. Special thanks to Cerenity Care Center of St. Paul's Westside, and United Hospital, 4th floor, for making Carlyle's final hours as comfortable as possible.
