October 21, 1924 - October 16, 2008

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother

Age 83 formerly of Superior, Wisconsin. Died peacefully Thursday October 16th. Preceded in death by her husband, Emil Strenke and sons, Dale, Russell, Dennis and Ronald Strenke. Survived by her husband, Clifford Hentges; sons and daughters, Larry (Beth) Strenke, LaVonne (Don) Michalec, Doug (Mary Kay) Strenke, Gary (Chris) Strenke, Duane (Deb) Strenke and Patty (Steve) Johnson; 31 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Merle's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff of Southview Acres Healthcare Center.

Funeral Information

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the CHURCH OF THE HOLY TRINITY, 749 South 6th Avenue @ 8th Street in South St. Paul. Visitation from 5 to 8 PM Monday at SOUTHERN FUNERAL HOME, 414 Marie Avenue in South St. Paul & also 1 hour prior to the Mass at church. Interment in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
