Dale S. Peterson

October 10, 1924 - December 22, 2005

WWII Naval Aviation Radioman, Firefighter & Building Inspector

Age 81, formerly of Mendota Heights. Preceded in death by his wife, Joan "Jo"; daughter, Cheri Kari; grandson, Brett Angus; and brothers, Lloyd and Lee. Survived by his daughter, Jaci Peterson; granddaughter, JoLynn Kari; and sister, Joan Hennessey. In addition to serving in the Pacific during WWII, Dale was the first building inspector for the City of Eagan, Assistant Fire Chief for Mendota Heights and past Commander of VFW Vasatka-Goers Post #6690.

Funeral Information

Funeral service 11AM WEDNESDAY at J.S. KLECATSKY & SONS, EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 1580 Century Pt., (Yankee Doodle Rd. @ Coachman), Eagan. Visitation 6-8PM TUESDAY plus 1 hr. before Wednesday's service at the funeral home. VFW ritual 6PM Tuesday. Interment with honors in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
