Ellwood died of lung cancer Friday, April 14, 2006. He left a legacy of joy, faith, poetry and laughter. Preceded in death by his wife, Betty. Survived by brother, Archie B. Vaughan Jr.; sister, Barbara (John) Ogren; many nieces and nephews. He will be missed for his love of family and life, his wit and the poetry he shared with all. He has joined his beloved wife of 63 years, Betty. He is at peace with his Lord. The Vaughan family would like to extend a special thank you to Allina Hospice and the caregivers from Age Well whose love and care were gifts beyond measure.
