George J. Finnegan, Jr.

December 20, 1918 - July 16, 2006

Recipient of 2 Purple Hearts, WWII Lifetime member of the VFW Post 6690, Mendota Village. Life long employee of St. Paul Corrugating Co. Preceded in death by parents, George Sr. and Mabel; siblings, Mary, Dorothy, Mickey, Beverly, Jack and Bill. Survived by wife of 62 years, Marie (nee Ryan) Finnegan; 4 sons, Michael (Ann), Patrick (Joanne), Kevin (Mary) and James (Eileen); 10 grandchildren, all Finnegan's, Michael, Shannon (Nicole), Amy (Mike) Westerhaus, Capt. KC (Capt. Jessica), Kelly (fiance, John Lamey), Bradley, Ryan (Kelsey), Keith, Ellen and Kyle; brother, Ronald (Lucille), sister, Shirley (George) Marette; sisters-in-law, Katie, Rosemary and Mary Clair; 3 great grandchildren, Alivia, John and Brody; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Memorial Mass 10 AM Wednesday July 19th at ST. JOSEPH'S CHURCH, 1154 Seminole @ Butler, WSP. Gathering of Friends Tuesday at WEST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 S. Robert St., WSP from 5-8PM and also from 9-10AM the day of the service at church. Private inurnment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Donations Information

Memorials preferred to ST. Joseph's Church-in care of loaves and fishes and MS Society.
