Guiding our community through the sharing of life's experiences

Charlotte M. O'Donnell

August 08, 1925 - September 13, 2008

Age 83 of Eagan

Died September 13, 2008 from complications of dementia. For three years the disease slowly stole from her mind and, finally, her body. If could not, however, diminish her heart and soul, her politeness and grace, her spirit and kindness. Charlotte was a dedicated public servant for schools and city government in Inver Grove Heights; an accomplished seamstress, author, gardener, artist, home decorator, party planner, cook and baker; and she generously shared her time and love with her large and devoted family. Preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Gladys; sister-in-law, Doris; and adoring husband of nearly 51 years, Edward; & brother, Allan Dols. Dearly missed by children, Jeffrey (Diane) of Woodbury, Mark (Sharon) of Apple Valley, Kellen (Cheryl) of Inver Grove Heights, Joan (Robert Bradt) of Mendota Heights, Terrence (Jane) of Cottage Grove, Timothy (Susan McCoy) of Eden Prairie, Patrice (Keith) Golla of Isanti & Daniel (Tatiana) of New Brighton; grandchildren, Shannon (Timothy) Taylor, Michael-Jon, Erin (Jeffrey) Tapper, Megan, Kathryn, Scott, Matthew, Dylan, Kyle, Kerry, Nick, Hayley, Colin, Jonathan & Casey; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Alexandra, William, Lily, Anna & Landon; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Charlotte and her family offer sincere thanks and gratitude to her wonderful doctors and to the many talented and dedicated caregivers at Presbyterian Homes Care Centers in Inver Grove Heights and Arden Hills; they truly were God's angels watching over her mind, body and soul.
