Godfrey R. Doffing

August 25, 1918 - December 18, 2005

Resting in Peace - Age 87

Survived by wife Lorraine of 59 years; daughters, Bernice (Douglas) Benker, Adine (Darwin) Whittlef,; grandchildren, Michael, Timothy (at peace), Gregory (Elizabeth), Scott (Pepper), Deanna (Brian), Brian, April; and great grandchildren Adam and Michael. The last to survive of 7 children, was active in So. St. Paul City Council, a member of the Police Commission, Chairman of Dakota County Democrats, President of Union Local 167 UPWA-AFL-CIO, K of C Council 3659 & VFW. Served in the Army in WWII & was a recipient of the Purple Heart.

Funeral Information

Mass of Christian Burial, 11AM Thursday, CHURCH OF THE HOLY TRINITY, 6th Ave. S. @ 8th St., So. St. Paul. Visitation Wednesday 4-8PM at SOUTHERN FUNERAL HOME, 414 Marie Ave., SSP & 1 hr. prior to the Mass at church Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
