Passed away September 27 at Our Lady of Good Counsel after a year long battle with lung and bone cancer. Jo will be remembered as a beautiful, kind, generous, intelligent, fun loving, humorous, one of a kind woman. Jo will also be remembered as one tough little lady. On top of battling cancer, she also lived with MS for over thirty years. Over the past year Jo has been more concerned about others than herself. Jo bravely helped Marv with his courageous battle with COPD. As they both endured their own illnesses, the show of love and support for each other was overwhelming through Marv's passing. Preceded in death by father, Edwin Parish, brother, Thomas Parish, significant other, Marv Lang. Survived by daughter, Jennifer Brue, mother, Marion Parish, sister, Kaye (Tom) Christianson, and many nieces and nephews spanning three generations. Funeral InformationServices will be held at SALEM LUTHERAN CHURCH, 11 W. Bernard St. @ Hall Ave., in West St. Paul, Friday October 6th. Visitation will be held from 10AM to Noon at church.
