Preceded in death by parents, Mary & Frank; brother, Howard; infant children, James, Mark and Mary. Survived by loving wife of 58 ½ years, Carol (nee Appel); children, Larry (Sharon), David (Bev), Lynn (Bob) Johnson, Neal, Michael, and Anne; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Madeline Schroeder, of Naples, FL, and Leone Sharpe, of Manitowac, WI; and 2 nephews.

Funeral Information

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the CHURCH OF ST. MATTHEW, 510 Hall Avenue at Robie Street in St. Paul. Visitation from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday at WEST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 South Robert Street @ Arion in West St. Paul and also 1 hour prior to the Mass at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Donations Information

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
